Hockey is back!
The Wolves kicked off training camp in preparation for the 2024-25 American Hockey League season Tuesday in Hoffman Estates.
“There’s been a lot of purpose and energy,” new head coach Cam Abbott said following the on-ice session at the Triphahn Center. “We’re trying to set a new standard here with how this team is going to play and compete and what it’s going to take to pull this great jersey on. So far, I’m impressed with the attitude of the guys. They’re taking in a lot of information and they’ve really done a good job.”
The initial training camp roster includes 14 forwards, six defensemen and two goaltenders and players are expected to be added as the Carolina Hurricanes’ preseason progresses and individuals are reassigned to the AHL.
