The Wolves’ training camp roster received a boost when the Carolina Hurricanes assigned 15 players to the team Sunday.
The following players will join Wolves camp, which is underway in preparation of the 2024-25 season opener Oct. 12 against the Milwaukee Admirals at Allstate Arena.
Goaltenders Spencer Martin, Yaniv Perets and Ruslan Khazheyev, forwards Bradly Nadeau, Felix Unger Sorum, Noel Gunler, Justin Robidas, Juha Jaaska, Skyler Brind’Amour and Gleb Trikozov and defensemen Aleksi Heimosalmi, Scott Morrow, Charles-Alexis Legault, Domenick Fensore and Ronan Seeley were assigned Sunday.
In addition, forwards Josiah Slavin and Ryan Suzuki and defenseman Ty Smith have been placed on waivers for the purpose of being reassigned to the Wolves.
Also, the Hurricanes loaned former Wolves defenseman Anttoni Honka to HC Ajoie of the Swiss National League and released former Wolves forward Rocco Grimaldi from his professional tryout (PTO) contract.
