A Class of 2020 graduate of West Point and currently enlisted in the Ready Reserve, Wolves forward Dominic Franco never lets thoughts of those currently serving in the armed forces and their families stray from his heart.
“I want to do everything I can to help support the families of those serving both here and overseas,” Franco said. “I know family time isn’t always the easiest thing in the military so I’d like to help them have a chance to come out and catch a game and spend some time together.”
To that end, Franco and the Wolves had established Friends of Franco, a space for Military Families to apply for free tickets to a Wolves game and a postgame meet-and-greet with Franco.
“I’m very proud to offer it and I’m always happy to meet families that are involved in service,” Franco said. “A, it helps our team get some great fans in the building and, B, it gets some new people into hockey and kind of bridges that gap between the military and fun events like hockey games.”
