The Chicago Wolves Reporter for a Day program provides a unique opportunity for aspiring high school and college multimedia journalists to gain valuable experience in the field by attending and capturing content of an American Hockey League game as a credentialed member of the media.
The students’ skills will be enriched as they will have access to learn from and work alongside the Wolves’ Director of Public Relations, Chris Kuc, as well as Public Relations Assistant, Danny Karmin.
With full media credentials, students will have the opportunity to write and produce content during a Wolves game for their school medium (newspaper or podcast) as well as the potential to be featured on the Wolves website and Social Media platforms.
Students are able to watch the game from the press box and have the opportunity to take part in postgame interviews with Wolves players and coaches. The Wolves will select interested individuals throughout the season based on availability; selected students will be required to follow Wolves Public Relations Department guidelines, including arrival times, access restrictions and dress code.
