Nic Petan scored with 2:09 to play in regulation to lift the Manitoba Moose to a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Wolves Saturday night at Allstate Arena. The loss halted the Wolves’ win streak at six games, which matched their season-high first set from Dec. 9-21.

Brandon Pirri, Chicago’s leading goal-scorer, was the team’s lone scorer with his 24th of the season as the Wolves (33-19-6-2) tried to pull within two points of the Central Division-leading Moose (36-16-4-4). Less than four weeks earlier, the Wolves trailed the Moose by 15 points.
