CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Goaltender Tom McCollum posted 30 saves while Kris Newbury and Sergey Tolchinsky scored in the shootout as the Charlotte Checkers topped the Chicago Wolves 3-2 Saturday night at Bojangles’ Coliseum.
