On Saturday, Jan. 10 and Sunday, Jan. 11 at Allstate Arena when the Wolves face the Texas Stars and Manitoba Moose, respectively, Wolves players will don specially designed “Fight Against Cancer” jerseys that will then be auctioned to raise money for Chicago Wolves Charities, Driven by Kia, Imerman Angels, A Silver Lining Foundation and the Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
Millions of people worldwide are in the fight of their lives. In the United States, 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime—including many in the Chicagoland area. The toll the deadly disease—which takes on many forms, including breast, colon and rectal, lung, prostate and skin cancer, among others, can develop anywhere in the body—isn’t limited to those who are diagnosed with it but also to their loved ones.
With Wolves fans’ help, we can make a difference in the Fight Against Cancer.
Players’ jerseys will be available via silent auction, blind auction, and golden ticket raffle. Check back in early December for more details on how and where to place your bids.
