CLIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR, PARTNERSHIPS

JOB SUMMARY:

The Chicago Wolves are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and dedicated individual to fill the position of Partnerships Client Services Coordinator. This position will be responsible for managing aspects of the Chicago Wolves sponsor/partner relationships to include contract management, contract execution, gameday execution and renewal process while assuring positive results to meet or exceed partner’s business goals.  Client Services acts as conduit between the Chicago Wolves organization and their marketing partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guide partnership marketing/fulfillment efforts for Chicago Wolves partners to ensure that all contracted needs are met or exceeded.
  • Provide high quality customer service through regular communication with current partners through email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
  • Manage aspects of the partner’s contract and the contract process.
  • Manage aspects of the A/R process including invoice distribution, tracking, follow up and internal communication.
  • Manage fulfillment of partner promotions (sweepstakes, prizing, etc.)
  • Co-manage partnership inventory for the Chicago Wolves.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the partner’s business strengths, weaknesses and opportunities
  • Cross-department coordination of activities with Graphics (Creative), Operations, Public Relations, Television Production and Ticketing departments in order to proactively deliver value to partners and execution of contractual benefits.
  • Provide the SVP Partnerships/Business Development with status updates on partnership marketing efforts and recommendations.
  • Manage partnership proof of performance/recap process including creation of sponsorship recaps, compilation of all relevant information in the recap process.
  • Coordinate hospitality events at Wolves games and off-site outings.
  • Business Dev. opportunities may exist in this role, secondary to Client Service
  • Attendance at all Wolves home games and other events.
  • Assist with other department duties as assigned (mailings, deliveries, organizing, etc.).

Part-Time In-Arena Host

JOB SUMMARY:

The Chicago Wolves are looking for a talented, witty and personable individual to serve as our part-time In-Arena Announcer/Host for home games during the 2018-19 season. This person should be able to take direction and follow the script, as well as improvise when necessary. The season takes place during the months of October through May. Applicants should have some previous hosting experience, preferably hockey.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Execute in-game promotions (at most 3 per period)
  • Announce intermission promotions and youth hockey games

Production Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

The Chicago Wolves have an entry level position open in the television production department. He/she will work with the television department to facilitate the production of the Chicago Wolves broadcast and game-day promotions, as well as contribute to the management of our digital space media. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in television production, broadcast media, or other related field. A graphic design and animation background is also helpful. This individual must demonstrate a willingness to learn, ability to multi-task and to work under deadline, and have exceptional communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Premiere Pro and After Effects, post-production, green screen keying, and color grading.
  • Familiarity with Sony digital recorders and related media, and live production.
  • Experience with Final Cut Pro, Cinema 4D, green screen production, lighting concepts, shot composition, and hockey are pluses.

Candidates must be able to fulfill full-time requirements in addition to game day duties.

Community Relations Internship (Paid, part-time)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Chicago Wolves are seeking enthusiastic responsible individuals to work alongside the Community Relations staff in executing gameday duties for the 2018-19 season. Community Relations interns will perform fundraising, fan engagement and other game-day duties before, during, and after Wolves home games (interns are expected to work all home games). Community Relations interns can expect to gain resume-building, fundraising, real-world skills in event marketing and management as well as learn about the community relations of a professional sports team.

GROUP TICKET SALES – ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and increasing group ticket sales. The right candidate will be a hunter. They will generate revenue through the sale of group tickets through relentless outbound prospecting, internal program development, a consultative sales approach and needs-based selling.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively prospect and close new group ticket sales to a variety of markets, which include local/regional business, community groups, non-profit groups, clubs, social groups, religious groups, youth focused markets and others
  • Create and develop new group sales concepts to generate new revenue streams.
  • Meet call volume requirements (minimum 60 prospect contacts per day) without exception.
  • Communicate regularly with current and prospective ticket partners through phone calls, personal appointments and hospitality at Wolves events and games.
  • Lead in the implementation of your group ticket initiatives.
  • Track all correspondence with customers via CRM software.
  • Attend all Wolves home games and other events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Internal drive to succeed as an individual while contributing to team success.

  • Ability to sell both conceptual and transactional inventory through the entire sales process from prospect identification, contact, ideation, presentation to close.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, TICKET SALES

JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Executive position at the Chicago Wolves is responsible for selling full and partial/flexible season ticket plans. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, ambitious, persuasive and coachable. Candidates must be ready to work hard at growing an existing customer base and developing new business. This will be accomplished through diligent research and prospecting via phone calls, referrals, personal appointments and face-to-face meetings at Wolves events and games.  We are seeking candidates who are interested in sales success, not for candidates “looking to get into sports.”  Prior sales experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make minimum 60 outbound sales calls to sell ticket packages
  • Actively prospect new sales opportunities through area businesses, organizations and leads provided through in-house data-capture efforts
  • Schedule prospect meetings at Wolves games and other events
  • Exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Provide superior customer service to clients, existing ticket-holders, prospects, and single game customers
