COMMUNITY RELATIONS COORDINATOR

Job Description:

The Chicago Wolves Professional Hockey Team seeks an enthusiastic, high-energy individual with a passion for the community to serve as a Community Relations Coordinator. This individual’s main duties are to assist with all charitable events (including gameday fundraisers) as well as help create new endeavors, facilitate the Wolves educational programs and other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position working in the Glenview office and all home games at Allstate Arena.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with gameday fundraising
  • Run the Wolves 50/50 on game days
  • Assist with facilitating player appearances for Read to Succeed program
  • Assist with the implementation of the Howl for your Health, Floor Hockey and Read to Succeed programs
  • Facilitate and process customer orders for tickets and merchandise
  • Handle all donation, fan mail and Make An Assist program requests
  • Assist with Skates Mates Kids Club
  • Help implement events such as Wine Tasting, Brews and Bites, Breast Cancer Awareness Night, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills required

  • Positive attitude and team-first mindset
  • High energy; ability to remain focused on task-oriented goals and work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and multitask

Game day staff, 2026-27

The Chicago Wolves are seeking responsible, enthusiastic individuals to work alongside the Game Operations staff in executing game-day duties for the 2026-2027 season. Game Day staff will perform fan engagement, fundraising and game presentation duties before, during and after Wolves home games (staff is expected to work most games).

Game Day staff can expect to gain resume-building, real-world skills in event marketing, management and fundraising, as well as learn about the operations of a professional sports organization.

The Game Day staff position will run from Saturday, October 10, until the end of the season. Game Day staff are paid on a per-game and per-event basis. If interested, please send your resume and cover letter to Ian Babcock at

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up, operate, and manage the team’s fan-interactive Kids Zone
  • Manage on-site activations and fan experiences while fundraising for Chicago Wolves Charities
  • Promote the Skates Mates Kids Club registration and help increase memberships
  • Facilitate the team’s various charitable initiatives, Chuck-A-Puck sales and charity drive collections
  • Assist with the team’s year-end merchandise sale
  • Provide high-quality customer service interaction with all guests to enhance the entertainment experience
  • Work other duties as assigned

ICE CREW staff, 2026-27

The Chicago Wolves are seeking enthusiastic, high-energy individuals to join the Ice Crew for the 2026–2027 season. A primary responsibility of the Ice Crew is maintaining a clean and professional playing surface during games. Ice Crew members will be responsible for clearing snow from both goal creases and the bench areas during all Chicago Wolves home games.

50/50 raffle seller, 2026-27

The Chicago Wolves are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing and dependable individuals to join our 50/50 Raffle Team. The 50/50 Raffle Sellers will play a crucial role in fundraising money for charity by selling raffle tickets, engaging with fans and promoting Chicago Wolves Charities. The 50/50 seller position will run from January to the end of the season and is a paid position. Sellers are expected to work the majority of home games. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals looking to break into the industry of sports, events and non-profits.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sell 50/50 raffle tickets to fans at Chicago Wolves Home Games.
  • Engage fans on the details of the 50/50 program and Chicago Wolves Charities.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding designated sales goals per game.
  • Accurately handle the sales and distribution of the raffle tickets.
  • Handling and accurately counting cash.
  • Understand and demonstrate the mission of Chicago Wolves Charities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Responsible, motivated individual with a competitive spirit.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to positively engage with fans.
  • Strong customer service skills, previous experience preferred.
  • Able to work the majority of home games, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Arrive on time, be organized and behave in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment.

BLIMP OPERATOR (PART-TIME)

The Chicago Wolves are seeking an experienced blimp operator for the 2025-26 season. The position is responsible for flying the Wolves’ radio-controlled blimp during all home games, plus maintenance and repairs to the blimp as necessary throughout the season.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced radio-controlled blimp experience is required.
  • Previous blimp operation experience with a sports team is preferred.
  • Must be punctual and reliable with strong communication skills.
  • Available to work all home games (Friday/Saturday nights, Sunday afternoons and some weekday and weeknights) from October to April, plus playoffs as needed.
