GROUP TICKET SALES – ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and increasing group ticket sales. The right candidate will be a hunter. They will generate revenue through the sale of group tickets through relentless outbound prospecting, internal program development, a consultative sales approach and needs-based selling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively prospect and close new group ticket sales to a variety of markets; including local/regional business, community groups, non-profit groups, clubs, social groups, religious groups, youth focused markets and others
  • Create and develop new group sales concepts to generate new revenue streams.
  • Meet call volume requirements (minimum 60 prospect contacts per day) without exception.
  • Communicate regularly with current and prospective ticket partners through phone calls, personal appointments and hospitality at Wolves events and games.
  • Lead in the implementation of your group ticket initiatives.
  • Track all correspondence with customers via CRM software.
  • Attend all Wolves home games and other events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Internal drive to succeed as an individual while contributing to team success.
  • Proven ability and a passion for sales.
  • Ability to sell both conceptual and transactional inventory through the entire sales process from prospect identification, contact, ideation, presentation to close.
  • A strong focus on prospecting, relationship sales and customer retention.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Inside Sales Representative

JOB SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for generating revenue through group outings and FSE ticket plans. The ideal candidate is a hungry, curious and self-motivated professional ready to develop sales acumen while generating revenue. The ISR position is seasonal, with opportunity for full-time employment based on merit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make minimum 70 outbound sales calls each day

CLIENT SERVICES, PARTNERSHIPS

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for managing aspects of the Chicago Wolves sponsor/partner relationships to include contract management, contract execution, gameday execution and renewal process while assuring positive results to meet or exceed partner’s business goals.  Client Services will serve as conduit between the Chicago Wolves organization and their marketing partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guide partnership marketing/fulfillment efforts for Chicago Wolves partners to assure that the partner business needs are met.
  • Communicate regularly with current partners through phone calls, email, personal appointments and hospitality at Wolves events and games.
  • Manage aspects of the partner’s contract and the contract process.
  • Manage aspects of the A/R process including invoice distribution, tracking, follow up and internal communication.
  • Manage and direct implementation of partnership initiatives.
  • Co-manage partnership inventory for the Chicago Wolves.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the partner’s business strengths, weaknesses and opportunities
  • Cross-department coordination of activities with Graphics (Creative), Operations, Public Relations, Television Production and Ticketing departments in order to proactively deliver value to partners and execution of contractual benefits.
  • Identify value added opportunities for partnership portfolio.
  • Provide the SVP Partnerships/Business Development with a weekly status report on partnership marketing efforts and recommendations.
  • Manage partnership proof of performance/recap process including creation of sponsorship recaps, compilation of all relevant information in the recap process.
  • Business Dev. opportunities may exist in this role, secondary to Client Service
  • Attendance at all Wolves home games and other events.

MOTION DESIGNER

JOB SUMMARY:

The Chicago Wolves have an entry level position open in the television and creative department. He/she will work with the television and creative department to facilitate the production of the Chicago Wolves broadcast and game-day promotions, as well as contribute to the management of our digital space media.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in television production, broadcast media, or other related fields. A graphic design and animation background is also helpful. This individual must demonstrate a willingness to learn, ability to multi-task and to work under deadline, and have exceptional communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on After Effects and Premiere Pro, post-production, green-screen keying, and color-grading.
  • Familiarity with Mirrorless and DSLR cameras and related media, and live production.
  • Experience with Final Cut Pro, Cinema 4D, green-screen production, lighting concepts, shot composition and hockey are pluses.

GAMEDAY STAFF, GAME OPERATIONS (part-time)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Chicago Wolves are seeking enthusiastic, responsible individuals to work alongside the Game Operations staff in executing game-day duties for the 2021-22 season. Game Day staff will perform fan engagement, fundraising and game presentation duties before, during, and after Wolves home games (staff are expected to work the majority of games).

Game Day staff can expect to gain resume-building, real-world skills in event marketing and management and fundraising, as well as learn about the operations of a professional sports team. The Game Day staff position will run from Oct. 16 until the end of the season. Game Day staff are paid on a per-game and per-event basis. 50/50 SELLER, COMMUNITY RELATIONS (part-time)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Chicago Wolves are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing and dependable individuals to join our 50/50 Raffle Team. The 50/50 Raffle Sellers will play a crucial role fundraising money for charity by selling raffle tickets, engaging with fans and promoting Chicago Wolves Charities.

The 50/50 seller position will run from October until the end of the season and is a paid position. Sellers are expected to work majority of home games. This is the perfect opportunity for individuals looking to break into the industry of sports, events and non-profits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell 50/50 raffle tickets to fans at Chicago Wolves Home Games
  • Engage fans on the details of the 50/50 program and Chicago Wolves Charities

ICE CREW (PART-TIME)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Chicago Wolves Hockey Team seeks enthusiastic, high-energy individuals to serve as members of the Chicago Wolves Ice Crew for the 2021-22 season.The Ice Crew will be responsible for clearing snow from both goal creases and the bench area during all home games.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced ice-skating ability is required.
  • Available to work most weekend home games (Friday/Saturday nights, Sunday afternoons) and some weeknights from October to April (plus playoffs as needed)
