Helping our furry friends
Throughout the summer and Wolves home games and Adopt-A-Dog Nights during the 2025-26 season, we will collect new or gently used dog toys to support the Pet Health Fairs, as well as Chicago Canine Rescue, Border Tails Rescue and Wright-Way Rescue.
We encourage all fans attending our games to bring items to donate, which we collect at the Chicago Wolves Charities table behind Section 105. Alternatively, feel free to send them directly to the Wolves’ address this off-season, and we will deliver them to the shelters.

Monica Meadow: 4-year-old lab mix!
Meet Monica Meadow!

Monica Meadow is a 4-year-old Lab mix with so much love to give—she’s just waiting for the right person to share it with. Adopted as a puppy, Monica recently found her way back to us after struggling to get along with another dog in the home. Because of that, she’s looking for a forever family where she can be your one and only pet—and trust us, she’ll happily take on that role 💛
Monica is housebroken, knows “sit,” and is incredibly smart—she’s the kind of dog who picks things up quickly and would thrive with continued training and structure. Once she feels safe and builds trust, her gentle, affectionate side really shines. She absolutely loves being rubbed and will lean right into you for more.
She’s also an active girl who would make an amazing hiking or jogging partner. Whether you’re hitting the trails or just enjoying a nice walk, Monica is ready to be right by your side.
Monica Meadow is looking for someone patient, understanding, and ready to give her the chance to truly settle in and shine. In return, she’ll be a loyal, loving companion who gives you her whole heart.
Alien: 14-year-old Lhaso Apso!
Say hello to Alien, a 14-year-old Lhasa Apso who has spent a lifetime perfecting the art of being lovable. This senior sweetie is calm, affectionate, and enjoys the simple joys of life: cozy naps, gentle pets, and quiet moments with the people he trusts.
Alien is looking for a home where he can relax and enjoy his golden years with comfort, security, and plenty of love. His mellow personality and devoted heart make him the perfect companion for someone ready to share their life with a loyal, senior friend.
If you’re seeking a gentle, loving dog to fill your home with warmth and companionship, Alien is ready to meet you and bring a lifetime of love into your life.
Andy: 4-year-old blind husky!
Andy is a spirited, affectionate Husky who doesn’t let missing eyes slow her down! At 4 years old, she’s full of personality, curiosity, and love to give. Andy recently road-tripped from Mexico with several other adoptable dogs and headed straight into a loving foster home with other blind and special needs dogs, where she’s thriving and showing off her playful, confident spirit.
Why Andy is special:
Spirited, affectionate, and resilient. Confident and adaptable, thriving despite missing eyes
Perfect for a family ready to match her playful energy and devotion! Andy is looking for a home that can give her love, patience, and companionship—and in return, she’ll offer endless joy, affection, and resilience.
Big Mac: 11-year-old bulldog/staffy mix!
At 11 years old, Big Mac is a gentle soul with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. This sweet senior pitbull came to us from CACC, and he’s more than ready to leave shelter life behind for good. Big Mac is now one of our longest-term dogs looking for his forever home, and has been waiting for over a year for that special someone!
Big Mac has clearly lived a life full of stories—some of them hard—but he’s not letting that hold him back. He’s soaking up every bit of kindness and comfort we give him, and he’s patiently waiting for that special someone who will see the beauty in giving a senior dog a second chance.
He does have a mass that will need to be monitored, but he’s feeling good and has so much love left to give. Big Mac is calm, affectionate, and would thrive in a quiet home where he can rest easy and be treated like the loyal companion he is.
Give this good boy the golden years he deserves. Big Mac is ready to be someone’s everything.
Vera: 5-year-old female spayed pitbull/boxer mix
Vera is an affectionate and well-behaved dog who has quickly become a cherished member of her foster home. She loves to play and cuddle with her family and i
s always eager for attention. Though she’s a strong walker, Vera has been making great progress in her leash skills. She’s highly food-motivated and excited to learn new tricks. Vera adores meeting new people and never hesitates to ask for pets and belly rubs, making her a lovable and friendly companion.
Hear what Vera’s fosters have to say about her:
“Vera’s doing great! She’s gained some healthy weight and is having a blast in our cozy apartment. She’s been on a few long drives to my parents’ place, and she’s totally smitten with their bigger home and yard. She’d love a yard where she can run and play to her heart’s content and a home where there are multiple people she can show love and affection to. She’s loves to cuddle, but she’s also got good boundaries. If you ask her to stay in her bed, she’ll respect your space. She’s super food-motivated, so treats are a must for working on her walking, good behavior, and tricks. She’s a pro at crating, and she sleeps like a baby through the night.”

Check out these dogs available from Last Stop Rescue!chloeChloe is a court-designated “vicious dog”—how that happened is a story for another time. Because of this label, she must wear a muzzle anytime she’s outside a home or enclosed space. Sadly, dogs like Chloe often bear the consequences of human failure, while their owners face little accountability. Chloe’s journey with us has been about rehab and redemption. Though we can’t change the law to remove her “vicious” status, we can train her to the point where the muzzle is more of a fashion statement than an indicator of an unfriendly dog.
Still, she’ll carry the public stigma of having to wear a muzzle for life. Today, Chloe is out training—working on behavior standards far beyond most pets. We hope her progress helps shift how people see muzzled dogs. Chloe is 5 years old, up to date on her annual medical, and has excelled so much in the past 2 years with LSR. Chloe LOVES all people, including kids. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and is acing her training classes! This is one smart girlie! Chloe is a huge love bug, enjoys playing fetch, gets the occasional pittie zoomies, and will melt your heart once you meet her! She is looking for someone to give her a chance and look past her history and muzzle. Chloe is now looking for a next step foster home or forever home! Training is required and provided free of cost. The easiest transition will be a home with no other dogs and an enclosed yard. |
