
Jon Sata
President of Business Operations
Jon Sata was named President of Business Operations for the Chicago Wolves in July.
Prior to being elevated to his current role, Sata spent four seasons as the senior vice president of partnerships and business development and six seasons as the vice president of partnerships. The 2000 Purdue graduate came to the Wolves after one season with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR).
Before that, the 43-year-old worked as director of corporate partnerships for NASCAR’s Phoenix Raceway and director of national sales/regional sales manager for Live Nation Motor Sports (currently Feld Entertainment).
Under Sata’s direction, the Wolves have won the American Hockey League’s Sponsorship Sales Department of the Year award four times (2010-11, 2011-12, 2014-15 and 2018-19).
Sata and his wife, Sarah, reside in Elmhurst with their two sons, Justin and Jeremy, daughter, Sonya, and dog, Chile. On gamedays, Sata’s oldest son Justin can be found working as a locker room attendant for the Wolves.
